The Dr. Una S. T. Clarke Women in Government Series was conceptualized by Dr. Zulema Blair- Chairwomen of the Nationally Ranked Public Administration Department of CUNY Medgar Evers College.  Its mission is to educate the student body and the community about the public policy impact that women have on society when they enter public office.  Through this series, you will hear from women who were pioneers in government as they tell their stories of the trailblazing pathways that were taken to become an innovator in this space.  Named in honor of a vanguard from our very own Central Brooklyn community, this Lecture Series serves as a co-curricular action plan that will educate and inspire students and those aspiring to take up space within public service.
